Performance art language sharpens my attention to presence and sensoriality. Scenography gives me a disciplined way of reading spaces, not only visually but as a relational field.
I work through archiving, and constructing sceneries. Places are my primary data, I collect traces; photographs, field recordings, found materials and objects. Through processes of dislocation, replication and reconversion, I construct sceneries that respond to what is already there.
Working from contexts shaped by environmental injustices and structural forms of abuse, I search into how these realities are inscribed in landscapes, materials, and collective imaginaries. My practice seeks to unearth their ecological and cultural implications, while opening spaces for re-enchantement and repair.
