For three months, I collected soil from places I chose across the Netherlands.
This journey led me to meet different communities. I recorded sounds, I engaged in conversations about our relationship to land, to nature, to more-than-human bodies.
My collection became large and isolated, so i decided to return it.
I became occupied with the poetic and political idea of return. For this first stage of the project, I invited people to use the soil to plant a structure of encounter between humans and non-humans.
